BLUFFTON, IN, June 19, 2009 - Already one of America's state-of-the-art production facilities, Alexin LLC has announced the addition of 12" aluminum billet.
"This capability gives the aluminum extruder the advantage of utilizing Alexin's Source-to-Source (S2S) distribution network," said Neil Johnson, Alexin's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Expanding our product line to include 12 inch log provides our customers with significant access to secure, environmentally responsible, press friendly solutions."
In operation for the past eight months, Alexin's $58 million facility produces over 80% of its aluminum ingot from recycled scrap. As a result, Alexin is a major American source for environmentally friendly aluminum for projects requiring a LEED® certification.
