State-of-the-Art Casthouse Begins Operation

BLUFFTON, IN, November 6, 2008 - The development of North America's state-of-the-art aluminum casthouse is now complete. Earlier today, the management team of Alexin officially began the operation of their new $58 million plant.
Alexin's facility provides aluminum extruders with the security of knowing that their future, high quality metal requirements will be met.
The start-up company's highly automated plant is a shining example of American ingenuity. "This facility will produce cost effective, environmentally friendly aluminum ingot," added Todd Johnson, Alexin's VP of Quality. "Eighty percent or more of Alexin's final aluminum product will consist of recycled scrap, and our natural gas furnaces are the most efficient in the industry."
The November 2008 edition of Entrepreneur Magazine strongly suggests that Alexin's business model is cutting edge. "With the value of green residential construction projected to increase from an estimated $7 billion in 2005 to at least $40 billion by 2012," said the magazine, "...there is no doubt that this is a hot market sector."
As the cleanest, most efficient aluminum casthouse in North America, Alexin will provide LEED certifiable aluminum to its customers.
