Alexin Hires Neil Johnson and Jay Jarrett

Neil Johnson has been named Vice President of Sales and Materials. Mr. Johnson, who was previously VP of Sales at Ohio Valley Aluminum, has 19 years of experience in the aluminum industry. He developed a sustainable customer base early in his career with positions also at Hydro Aluminum, Alcoa, and Reynolds Metal Company. Mr. Johnson graduated from the University of Wisconsin (Oshkosh) with a degree in communications.

Jay Jarrett has been named Vice President of Finance at Alexin. Mr. Jarrett has 12 years of experience in the aluminum industry, including plant management, startup, finance and system implementations. Jay also has financial experience achieved working under security clearance at various weapons complexes, and is a former US Army Military Police Officer. Mr. Jarrett is a CPA and has earned his MBA from Auburn University.

Alexin plans to launch operations in November 2008 following the construction of a new 350,000 square foot facility. When fully operational, Alexin will produce more than 210 million pounds of aluminum billet annually.

"We believe the extrusion market needs high quality, large - diameter billet delivered by a regionally focused, service - oriented business partner," explains Tom Horter, president of Alexin. "Neil and Jay will help us redefine service, technology, processes, and value to the customers."

Alexin will be able to offer a breadth of unique products, including large diameter billet, up to 16" in diameter, and finished lengths up to 290".
